Recruitment firm launches candidate loyalty scheme
16 Mar 2012

Health and social care recruitment agency Cardea has launched a loyalty scheme for candidates.

Temporary and contract staff in the UK who are placed in posts through Cardea will now automatically be signed up to the Mercury programme and be eligible for its benefits as soon as they start working.

Members of the programme will be able to claim discounts at a range of participating retailers including Sainsbury, M&S, Comet and Asda.

Furthermore, workers will also be given access to training courses in order to improve their skills.

Tony Woollett, Cardea's operations director, claimed that the firm is looking to "give something back" to its workers through the new Mercury scheme.

He said: "We're quite a new player in this sector and I think this means we're inclined to innovate and that’s where Mercury comes in. Early indications of performance are good, with clients and candidates embracing the benefits of the scheme."

Cardea has also developed the Mercury Extra Awards, which rewards candidates for excellent service.
