Our network is based around secure internet technologies, and we operate the system in its entirety – from the customer’s contactless transaction to the back-office processing, through to the card holder and merchant portals. With no third parties, we are able to keep costs very low for merchants – just as it should be for low value transactions.

Our technology platform is located in a secure, state of the art data centre. And transactions are fully secure with industry leading security across our network. The sQuid payments network is very flexible too; we can deliver multiple purses including loyalty programmes for retailers.

Think of sQuid as an application that can be added to smart cards for example MiFare cards, or other third party contactless cards with MiFare emulation. sQuid can also be added to other RFID form factors that conform to RFID ISO 14443A, such as wrist bands, wrist watches, key fobs and mobile phone stickers.
