What is sQuid?
sQuid is your electronic money account
Think of it as electronic cash. You create a sQuid smart account (it's easy to do), load it with value, and then you're off!
We issue you with a smart card to access your smart account, and in some cases, you only need your finger! That's called a biometric account. You can also use sQuid for online payments.
So, who uses sQuid?
sQuid is used across the UK in schools, colleges, campuses, universities and in businesses.
It's also available in selected regions for public transport, where your sQuid purse enables your pay-as-you-go smart card.
You can also use sQuid in some retail environments like the Bolton marketplace, and Thames Ditton in Surrey.
